Working with Schools

KMBRC has worked with schools ever since it's inception in 2003. We support young people to learn more about recording the wildlife at sites of importance to them; support teachers to develop new spaces for nature and provide a broad range of workshops (e.g. biological recording, map reading and grid referencing skills).

In 2021 and 2022 we made repeat visits to a local Primary School, leading fungi walks and moth trapping events. For further information on how to incorporate recording into school activities, please do get in touch.
